Heat the oil in a pan and add the onion. Cook until the onion is soft.
Add the spices and stir.
Add lentils, tomato paste and chopped tomatoes.
Reduce the heat and leave to cook for 10 minutes. Stir now and again and add water if needed.
Add the kidney beans and coconut cream or yoghurt and cook for another 10 minutes.
Mash the mixture lightly and add the coriander.
