Preheat the oven to 180 degreed Celcius.

Melt coconut oil in a saucepan and remove from heat to cool.

Line a 12-cup muffin tray with muffin sleeves.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.

Add the mashed banana and maple syrup to the oil and mix.

Add the wet mix to the dry mix. Stir until just combined.

Fold in the chocolate chips.

Evenly spoon the batter into the muffin tray.

Bake for 20-25 minutes.

Remove and let cool.
