Be Kind to Animals Week October 1 - 7 2021

Be Kind to Animals Week is an international event which aims to encourage and inspire people of all ages to be kind to our furry, feathered and finned friends. This event is presented by SAFE and Edgar’s Mission, Australia’s much-loved not-for-profit farmed animal sanctuary based in Lancefield, Victoria.

Last year over 60 libraries took part with engaging displays. These included a collection of animal-related books and posters, along with free handouts including Kindness Kits, flyers, badges, colouring-in competitions and more.

Free Resources

Edgar’s Mission Farm Sanctuary and SAFE Animal Squad can provide you with the free posters and handouts you need to make it a fun and interactive event.

To register your involvement and request your free resources, please complete this form. The resources will then arrive in the post in September, so that you can start spreading the word in time for Be Kind to Animals Week from 1 October. You will also be listed on our Participating Libraries section on the website.

Signups for the 2021 Be Kind To Animals Week are now closed.
